I am curious.. how does somebody get to chat sites thru mIRC?

/server collarchat.com

To bring up a channel(room) list, use /list and double click, or type /join #channel

Actions with /me, colors with control+k, underline is ctrl+u, bold with ctrl+b

For more topics, type /help

I noticed that you used / with server and list.. do I need to use it also when pulling up

What do you mean "pulling up"? You type that into the status window... I don't have the options dialog popup on start, because everything's already setup for my client.
