Hi..I do agree.  1.  see a Dr.      2.  take anti-inflammatories - use over the counter until you can get in to see a doctor.  Then, he/she may prescribe something that may work better.   3.  definately rest the arm.  Be very careful to apply no pressure to the elbow.   4.  alternate icing or heat, whichever seems to feel better.  yes, seek medical attention.   Hope this is only a temporary situation for you.
