Hello There,
Websters New World Dictionary's definition of a whore is a prostitute. I don't know any subs who get paid to play except in sites like hogtied.com.

Suzanne, since we run in the same circles, I can tell you that you DO know at least a few who pro, either as subs or just as women. They might just not be out in the scene about it (it's not very accepted) :)

you mean that i could get paid for this :) salary or commission only?

At Inner Explorations, a company I ran for a few years, female submissives received $150 of a $250 an hour fee. $50 went to the dominant who had to be in the dungeon at all times to make sure the legal restrictions were covered and $100 to the company for the space, advertising, equipment and such.

Interestingly enough, some of our most sought after "dommes" were lifestyle submissives who were just doing the role for the cash. The guys liked them I think because they were so enthusiastic at finding and catering to the guys' fantasies.

As one submissive told me, "I get to submit to them and they don't even know it."

Ah JohnWarren, that is indeed charming, and it made me think, werry meny of the submissive men i have talked whit appear more to be marchosistic dominants.

I always find the issue of those terms pretty interesting. Obviously, I am one of the ones not very bothered by it, but I have seen posts here such as this where some are very offended. During a discussion recently with someone, we were discussing "dirty talk", I explained that during play, I not only didn't mind them being used, but very much enjoyed it. I also explained to him that on the "day to day" basis, I wouldn't recommend a statement like "cunt go get my dinner", because then it was disrespectful. He, of course, didn't understand, but then again, there were other issues there as well, so no big deal.

Damn, I think perhaps I am in the wrong career field!
