The most thoroughly and relentlessly Damned, banned, excluded, condemned, forbidden, ostracized, ignored, suppressed, repressed, robbed, brutalized and defamed of all Damned things is the individual human being. The social engineers, statisticians, psychologists, sociologists, market researchers, landlords, bureaucrats, captains of industry, bankers, governors, commissars, kings and presidents are perpetually forcing this Damned Thing into carefully prepared blueprints and perpetually irritated that the Damned Thing will not fit into the slot assigned to it. The theologians call it a sinner and tries to reform it. The governor calls it a criminal and tries to punish it. The psychotherapist calls it neurotic and tries to cure it. Still, the Damned Thing will not fit into their slots.

And hell if I remember where I saw it.

Hi,
um, i've um, just read all of the entries under 'Rant', and um i've a question or two (she ducks for cover)

1. What does TOS mean
and
2. Where do I find the search function, and will it look in all the forums at once?

An old mentor told me ... 'There are no stupid questions, however there are stupid answers'.

BitaTruble -> RE: Rant (3/4/2008 10:40:12 PM)

TOS = Terms of Service

Search function is lower right (and a clickable link in the upper right) corner of the page you are viewing at this very moment.

The search function will look across all the forums at once for the terms you use, however, you can, if you so desire, narrow your parameter to a specific forum.

Celeste, thank you - the search feature looks rather simple, didn't know it was there until today ... i've been on here off and on since August 07 - i've been using it, sorry it's taken awhile to acknowledge your assistance.

Regards

J
