Where do I start? Tetheredneeds was a user name that intrigued me from the get-go, and the gentleman can also communicate his way out of a paper bag, or even a Houdini escape! We chatted on CM, we chatted by telephone, we hit it off, and I had an errand in greater Portland--so I figured, nothing ventured, nothing gained. And I've gained a cheerful friend, a fun play partner, and a really great visit.

Postscript to that eminently successful visit:
So my happily new sub has spontaneously proposed that we invite my newly met dom friend to join us for an evening visit to Powell's (city of books) and a couple of leather/kink shops and a pleasant evening drive. And dom says yes, sure, and we pick him up. And the two of them make suggestions about styles of fetish clothing that they would choose for me to try on or wear, and they keep picking the same style. And in one joint, there's even something of such a style in a might-be-my-size...so I try it on...no, I didn't buy it, but it was close enough of a fit to let them see (not the rest of the customers, just them) before I climbed back out of it.

And by the end of the evening they're having nice-fights over who pays parking and who buys gelato. We all just had a blast. Pursuant to which, dom invites us both to attend his weeknight rope-bondage group...and as it eventuates, we're able to...and the miracle repeats itself, we all three have a fabulous time. Dom gets to practice some hands-on body bondage on a lovely lady who was jonesing for it, and my observations of the process enable me to try it out at home a week later on a volunteer mannequin...and I'm able to send photos by cell phone of the result to my new sub...who promptly responds with "me, me!"

And I'm going up again this week. Whee.
