I love it when Linea uses the proper Second Person Plural in Southern-Speak.     (see below for linguistics lesson)




Lesson 1 ~ Southern Speak

Second Person Singular:  y'all
Second Person Plural: all y'all
Second Person Singular Possessive:  y'all's
Second Person Pural Possessive:  all y'all's

Y'all and all y'all to them... They thought I was a crazy person. 

I explained to them how big the USA is and .... well they were flabbergasted.  I explained that their whole country was about half the size of Pennsylvania... and we got 50 of them.

I loved Linguistics class in college/uni.  We discussed the whole geographical references to the same object (ie., skillet, frying pan).  It's great. 

When you think about y'all and all y'all, it's kinda silly, but it's really just the way we speak down here.
