ok, it's getting there folks, thanks for the help! i still have a lot of friends to contact but i need to give my head a rest. ok, i hate it when food is brought up on the boards and i have to make it. i was reading about scotch eggs andi just boiled a dozen eggs, now i'm not going to wrap them in sausage and deep fry them...ok, only becuase i don't hve any oil in the house rofl. geesh...the power of suggestion, huh?

lol, darlin, the cats and i just finished sardines on toast for brekkie (i can hear a chorus of yucks out there), but most yanks don't seem to appreciate them. i admit, was expecting to get a little green face, but am most tickled you didn't. now i don't have to worry about fish breath while talking to you! My father swore to me that when I was a toddler I loved sardines.... I didn't believe him until I asked Mom, who said "oh YES, you DID! And many were the times when I wanted to shoot your father because he'd give themto you and you would wipe the fish oilall over your clothes!" lol Now... ugh no sardines for me,thanks...

oh hell girl, i grew up with a german grandmother feeding me tongue sandwiches, kraut, and pickled herring...fish breath doesn't bug me at all as long as i have it too rofl!
