Oh that sucks hun.... Do you have JAWS? It will allow you to change the voices for different applications.

One of my best friends uses it.. when we were teenagers we would spend time on his computer making it say some of the nastiest stuff. LOL

~ I just found out that he moved to St. Pete infact! *happy dances*  

I learned how to work with Jaws at the Ft.Myers Center for the blind.. but that was like oh... over 12 years ago. ( that is where his dad worked)

Openbook will allow you to change the voices as well.

I do have Jaws, but it is a limited version of it. The full program cost 900.00 dollars. The Arizona Center For The Blind and Visually Impaired helped me get what I do have. I'm sorry for complaining about this. I really do appreciate what I have. There are those who have no sight at all

  But...I think it's pretty cool that the cop that showed up (A guitarist in his off time) says he listened outside for about 10 minutes and really liked what he heard.

It is damn expensive isnt it? I couldnt believe how much they are charging. I am glad you have at least some version of it. It is a good program all in all... but that damn orig. voice just drones on. *sighs* So I know how annoying it is.

We used to go online and "read" Erotica. *snickers* now that was funny! I then became the reader of porn after one bout with that program. It worked. LOL

Yeah yeah.. I know... I need to make more pronounced stops. LOL I know better really I do.

I spent a lot of time at the centers for the blind with his Dad... and his whole family are visually impaired. I *so* know how to guide someone. So next time you come down.... I can brush back up on my skills if you like. No running you into things! I promise.

However...  I love it when He looks at me as we smooch goodbye in the parking lot and He says, "Oh, I will be by tomorrow" and smiles at me all naughty.
