My sister had a hard time with some of her children getting her water to break and getting the dialated thing to occur. They told her to get some primrose oil and put in.....uhm....well...damn... *on those bottom lips* and it would start things in motion. My best friend is a mid-wife and swears by it...

i hate that i just took the pre test for this exam and i only got a 70%..  i hate it even more that He (thinking He was being Mr. helpful and all) said that i did a good job, or my first time through.....  And the purpose of doing the practice test was so i know what areas i need to study.....
Thank all the gawds above, that i had a sembalance of a brain in my head and didn't share my thoughts about that to him...i wanted to say, "Listen up jackass!!!!! The POINT in my taking this damn exam is to prove that i don't need to study.."
damn it all to hell......  looks like i'm not going to be spending much time with Ya'll here much the next two weeks...bah...

My eyes weren't leaking til I read y'all's responses.
Guess I needed that and didn't know it.

We tried to reassure her and not give in to her fears,
we told stories, relived memories and my little brother who I haven't seen/spoken to in over a year were able to get together tonight as well.
We all laughed and hugged and she sent her fur gand-ums hugs & kisses too. 

Now I'm headed to bed.. 

Thanks ALL of you!

(dammit, now my nose is leakin too)

Just went through that with my 77 year old mom year before last. Do not let her let up on the machine, make her follow every exercise the physical therapist gives and amke her use that walker to actually move around.  My mom sounds about as fiesty as yours and she was at the perfect flexability and straight range within two weeks, enough so that the dr allowed her to drive on short errands.

Remind her every missed required minute on the torture machine and every missed exercise will lessen to abiity for a full sucessful transition from a real knee to the one she has not.  Mom hasnt had a lick of problems with her first knee, she will has the other to deal with.
The therapist that came to the house told me most replacements knees that fails is the person cheats on the therapy and exercise it takes and it backfires and leaves them stil hurting with a limp

I wish you and her luck on the recovery and tell her to stand firm, if you need caretaking advise of a knee replacement cm me on the others side, since it is still fresh on my mind, our therapist was great and give so much good adivse but he was one of those that loved his job.

I know all too well not to be an instigator with the Domly mens.  Yup.  One time, another (supposedly) sub gal was doing a lil hawt scene with me, and her Dom and DB were talking.  She decided to butt into their conversation, not once, but several times.  When her Dom couldn't seem to keep her in check, He asked DB to put an end to it.  Yeah...  I knew it wasn't going to be good when He got that "look."  He asked her if she was going to keep her mouth shut and she said, "No."  So, He reached into her mouth, pressed a nerve under her tongue, and she screamed.  She wasn't damaged, just hurt, esp. her pride.  She almost slapped her Dom for asking DB to "correct" her. 

So... I don't do any of that stuff.

I'm a good girl.

It is ok however for all of us strong, capable women to curl up in a small ball and scream and cry and kick..just so long as we remember to uncurl again.

Kali...I know the feeling regarding the test. I have a Mid-term tomorrow and while I can do the work, it takes me time and I look at their computer screen and go blank. We can get through this as long as we study.

Kyttyn...Glad  to hear Mom is doing well enough to be that feisty. Then again the apple didn't fall far from her tree...you are one fantastic scrappy kyttyn. I have faith that the pain will be undercontrol soon and that she will be cranky, but it will soon be the mother you love driving you batty.

Red....you go Girl...Redheaded Mommy Lioness' RULE!!!! I am sorry however that Thing 1 has to deal with this type of thing, but that he felt Ok to tell you about it is FANTASTIC!!

lol girl you just made me cackle out loud..gues that would be col instead of lol.  and you're right, i do have an inner godzilla and i seem to be forgetting that lately.  ya know, this uncurling stuff is a little painful for those of us over 40...ouch.
