From Michigan BACK to NC. My 5/o daughter told my ex last nite i was moving back in with him! i snagged the phone and in a breathless state managed to say that was soooooooo NOT the case! i did confirm my motive was to open a can of wup ass on my son's school system! My son is part Phil/Itl. thus he has coffee bean skin, and he is the minority. i am fully aware everyone gets teased, nevertheless, IF my son were to harass, or call the black kids racial names like they are doing to him, i KNOW he would be expelled.
i am my children's biggest critic and strongest defender. i have no qualms with verbally slicing and dicing someone to the white meat by way of my vernacular for my children. My son is not above reproach, he is simply human, and i hear my child's limit has been meet.
Home girl don't play, and sooooooooo, back i go!

NC...long haul from MI....but im sure more then worth it for you and your daughter

sometimes i wish i could move from PA away from my ex...but my 3 daughters are here so i cant and wont do that....

i was married for 17yrs Sir, thus i have made that passage twice annually for that time frame; not so bad really.
My 13y/o respectfully requested to stay with the children's father. i may loath the man, yet i will never keep my children from their father. Our issues are just that, Ours.
i have about 70 folks in my Clan up this way. i thought it would be a good move for myself as well as my children (i had my son all summer, Thanksgiving; sent the 5y/o South for xmas, and bought the 13y/o a laptop for spring break instead of flying him back up) i have been here a year and one month. i truly felt the move was in the best interest of all concerned. i was sleeping in my van before i moved to Mich due to the extreme fights between my ex and i. i left a 5bedroom, three bath, two car garage, with five dumb ass running/working cars. i fought for none of it. There are times it is NOT about what You are leaving but rather what You are gaining.
i capitulate; i was gravely mistaken about the move up here.
My ex has agreed to take both children for June so i can move one hour South of where he is. i will then have the children the rest of the summer until school resumes.
My ex is about our son toughing it out. Lord i loath that! The jocular thing is my son would never utter the word nigger, as he has four cousins who are African American (my brother adopted 12 children from foster care!) Furthermore my son knows what it is like to be called names for Your skin color, and lastly ....... not bragging but my son is semi intelligent; he knows i will bitch slap him into next month right in front of the police station if he were to ever utter such a word!
Titles aside, people are just that, people. i intend to impress upon my son's school and the superintendent that i am the wrong cunt to be fucking with; in a matter of speaking!
BTW Sir, You KNOW You are doing right by Your children, and that is the point. Excellent form, if i may say Sir!

people are people...everyone treats people different..judges others..which no one has the right to do so.
Admirable that youve gone through the very low times, and now, perhaps, you can find your high times, and be in a better place and situation for yourself first and foremost. Our kids learn from us first..what we can instill in them as they grow...thats my intentions with my 3 girls, even tho they live with a bitch for a mother....i am and will always be around the corner from them for anything they need....

My 5y/o will be out of pre-K in three weeks. i meet my ex in Your neck of the woods Sir, Somerset, Pa. Is roughly half way for us both. We will have lunch at a cafe there on the 31st of May. Eight hours there, eight hours back, all in one shot! Now that is something to despise!!
Therefore i intend to move at some point during the month of June hence being settled by July 1 wherein i will take charge of my children until summers end.

meeting here memorial weekend....lots of traffic that weekend...ive always wondered what that drive to MI was like from here...lol.....lots of thinking time in that drive as well, here and then back...i feel for you.....

Im driving to Texas leaving on the 13th of June..with 4 kids...so i know...my drive is 22 hours..2 days...

Ouch!!! 22hrs! i did that once when my ex rebuilt a Bronco for his parents. i then drove it with my then 3y/o son from Chesapeake, Va to St. Paul, Minn. Then we took a train from Minn. to Michigan to meet my ex. Now that was a trip, like Your impending one!!
The ace up my sleeve for traveling on that weekend is my ex has been a driver(owned his own towing business; long haul for 4yrs) since before we meet! He knows every short cut thus keeping either one of us from those dreadful places like DC and the like!
Despite that my right foort is heavier then my left, so far i have managed to side step the city kitties, county mounties, and State Bears by way of shamelessly name dropping my cop father! Doesn't work so well once i cross into Ohio tho!

Ohio State Police, in my opinion, are hired based on having no sense of humor. (opinion formed by the number of officers I dealt with in my 20+ yrs of driving commercial vehicles)

to me, the worst is driving down I81 through Virginia....for 5 hours!!!.....and state mounties every couple of miles sometimes....cant go over 70 if that....is a royal bitch driving that way for so long.......is what it is...it gets me to where i need to be.....then 2 weeks at home...will be nice......my father is excop..retired now...35 years...... i cant use it anywhere except where he is......
