i hate that i'm stuck here until the 16th.  but i love the reason is becuase the one guy here that's been nice to me couldn't take me to the airport until then.  he's a guy i worked with that was only really nice and helpful to me.

Status: offline 		poenkitten, we're all fine, was a tense day around the area, but the bad guy is out of the picture, self inflicted, without taking another person with him.  what spooked me the most is that i'd swear i'd seen him at the local grocery store a few times and i know i've seen him over here closer to the community center.  gave me nightmares all night, but he's off trying to explain his actions at the pearly gates' express elevator to hell.

Linnaea, i hate that your ex is being such a boob!  hope you feel better soon, and you too Lady H!  chicken soup for all!

Rhi, would it be possible to get dad into senior adult day care? might make it easier to free up some time for you.  and respite could help a little on weekends, contact your case manager and see what's available.  if you don't have a caseworker, contact yout local government office on aging, they might have suggestions for finding help.

Lushy, hugs to you and yours for strenght and hope.

Wanders, you and i need to get together and devise something you can add to things you lose, the remote, car keys, whatever, then hit a code into a box and bingo, your object is found.  trouble is, i'd lose the box!

Craves, you have cmail and it's always there for you.  we mothers of teenagers need our oun forum  "And I shouldn't kill the kid because.......?

Oh the pole is still grounded, bent over but in.

That is such a dangerous pretty blind turn at 90 degrees that anyone not paying but the strictest attention would not see a very small child until to late.

I didnt even let my kids or grandones in a fenced yard without being specifically out there.  Much less letting them run the streets.  Anytime outdoors anywhere near a street they usually had their hand an adults hand.

Reckless parents just shouldnt be allowed to breed. Or have to pass a test or something.

You know it did some serious damage to their car.

With all of the shit that happens you would think the parents would be out there. *sighs*

We live on a quiet street, in a "grid" neigborhood. I still have him check in every hour. All the other parents know me... and we all watch out for the older ums who are fairly unsupervised.

My windows are always open.. and watch out for them all.

I wish more parents would do the same.

Status: offline 		I hate it when I think that I've eaten some bad yogurt & want to go back to bed, but His Evilness said he's coming by this evening to bring me cereal so I kinda have to tidy up a lil.  The apt looks like a really depressed person hasn't done much of anything the last few days.

Status: offline 		First time it has been taken out Gwyn since he installed this one 6 years ago. Since 6 feet of the steel pole was buried in cement underground and the pole was curved into a 90 degree angle..it did some damage I suspect to the car...according to the tire tracks they ran right over it after taking the curve to quickly. Next one will have cement in the top half as well.

Linnea..may he find that all those who he turns to have the same generous attitude. I am so sorry to hear he had that response to give someone he once promised to love forever. Oh...and remember he is coming to see YOU not the apartment.

Christine I hate that you didn't accidentally spill CHEAP perfume in the stuff....

Status: offline 		oh hell, why didn't i think of that?  but i don't own any cheap perfume.  he came, only took what was convenient, was a jerk, i called him an ass and we parted ways.  time for me to get over my stupid spot i have for him and move on.  that's exactly what i'm doing starting right now.

Status: offline 		As you can tell, I'm not really the best right now at thinking of nice things to do to one's ex.  You shoulda heard the things that Red & I were plotting to do to mine last night.  We could just change the venue, yanno.  PA's closer for what Red had in mind.  We should start a support group so that when we begin to forget the pain, we can all remind each other!!
