ORIGINAL: Rainfire In my family, it was toy drums and rubber mallets. My dad and uncle have some sick sense of humour. They still tell how my dad got back at my uncle for the drum sets by giving rubber mallets to my cousins. Who then proceeded to WHACK my uncle in the knees with them at all innocent, childish strength..... who needs rubber mallets? just use regular hammers! bwhahahahah in our family it was critters. hamsters, gerbils, fish, frogs, turtles. One year my mom got my twin cousins hamsters and a habit trail cage for their birthday. My aunt paid for Christmas with the money she made from selling the offspring to pet shops. My aunt repaid my mother's "generosity" with a couple of KISS albums and a new stereo for me for my birthday ( 14th ) the following year.
