pooooooor Camille, I feel for you. 2006 I moved into a new place....thankfully I realised the cockroach problem there BEFORE I had to spend the night there...I was horrified. Where by now I am fine to handle most crawly creatures (as my cats take care of the disgusting version of spiders anyway) cockroaches are also the ones who get me freaked out. I moved out straight away and was even lucky that a house mate in that infested place borrowed a car from a shop owner nearby and drove my stuff to my new accommodation. I never ever moved as quickly as on that occassion, and of course despite being very careful some of those bastards travelled with me (but I seem to have catched them - approx. 6 - before they started to multiply there as well), because the ones I found in the beginning I catched and soon afterwards I went home for 2-3 weeks leaving my room corners in thick layer of cockroach killing powder...when I got back I never ever came accross one anymore for the remaining year I was living there...

Also after I had left my parents place to return my mum described to have seen two huge ones, but if that is the case then they were not from me, as mine were tiny ones...but yes, aawwgghh  cockroaches are aaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwfulll.

Good luck in chucking out your unwanted tenant....

Status: offline 		...my online food order comes and keeps me now busy for the next 60-90 minutes to put all that stuff away *sigh*

...my shop I order from tries to cheat me or just does not use common sense...because one food bulk for my cats which I ordered (12x400g) they replaces with whiskas pouches 12x100g...now...that's not quite the same, is it??? So nope, declined, back to sender...I told the driver why don't they just put in two packages of 6x400g from the same brand I ordered as replacement DOH

I developed some nightmares about them so I seriously think I would not be able to cope with them if they would be around me 24/7.

I already would be slightly driving up the wall from the many spiders which come along here...I don't mind them once in a while, but here they are often and thank goodness my 12paw-spider-defense mechanism often deals with them before I find them...aarggwwh

Um. No. No I can not, will not get used to 3'' cockroaches. Nope.
I knew that Texas had bugs but its different when there is a GIANT creature in the kitchen.

DDT is no longer an option but hairspray is. AquaNet to the rescue! If it can make helmet hair that never moves it should help against the GIANT cockroach that scuttled its way behind the dishwasher.

My kitty is of no help. She is over 21 years old and I think she laughed at me last night when I went hysterical. She may look at a bug but she won't get up and deal with one anymore lol. Just eats, sleeps and uses the litterbox. Then eats more.

I had a nightmare when I finally fell asleep last night or late this morning. It involved the GIANT cockroach, my hooha and egg laying. Honest to god bugs freak me out. Its my sisters fault, when I was little she told me that mosquito bites were actually eggs under my skin. In order to kill the eggs I had to paint myself in nail polish. I've never gotten over it.

Heya will they be in my boxed food?? Do I need to toss stuff out? I am not used to GIANT cockroaches, or any roaches! I'm a Yankee dang it. I know if I Google them I will see pics, so anyone have advice?
Please?
I know I'm a freak about bugs. I know it is unhealthy to live in the center of my bed and not go pee because a GIANT cockroach might be lurking in the potty..
Help meeeeeeeeeee.

Status: offline 		I hate that after 3 days on the road Im back in NYC and its already kicking my ass. I swear Im allergic to this place.

I left sunny FL just to get here to 40 degrees and raining.

I miss sleeping with poen :( and just have damn bars on a bunk.  Tho I imagine BP will like the thought of me sleeping between bars, since I can just crawl out of his cage. *snicker*

One month to get things settled and back down I go, I cant wait to see the backside of this city and have my familiar things down there.
