Im hoping it will run its course soon. 
I did do some checking online what to avoid since right now all I can do is ride it out.
Its more aggraving than anything.
Guess the sweets and yummy stuff will have to wait.

And on the plus side I have reduced and stopped taking all the allergy medication and any OTC and am breathing better now than before all the congestion started.

Status: offline 		Have you tried drinking cranberry juice? It is supposed to help substances leave your body a lil bit quicker ((Or so I have heard, I swear :P))

I hate it when I go to stand up and end up falling down, my knees just refusing to support my weight... It is the single most painful experiance I have ever felt, I can literelly hear the remnants of my kneecaps cracking against each other as I fall, and it is all I can do not to scream out from the pain... Honestly the worst part is the feeling of helplessness that accompanies it, I mean I cant even make it to the kitchen for a soda some days

Status: offline 		Actually I do drink and keep cranberry juice around.  Wont kill me to drink more instead of a coke.

I hate that I just got a call from my sister in ny and she is in the ER, at first they thought is might be a stroke but that was ruled out.  She can keep her concentration at all and is having problems remembering or finding words.
I hate that she is having to deal with this alone.  She is also worry about her kittehs since they havent been feed and one has to take medications now to.  They do have dry food if they get hungry..but they are her kids.
Gods I hope its nothing serious.

She just called back they are going to release her and have her make an appt with a neuroligist.

I also hate that our Adorable Asher is having so much knee problems.  If I was closer I would get that soda for ya.

Status: offline 		Kali, I know that this is hard, but try not to let it get to you, frankly I am amazed that you have never been written up before, not because of anything to do with you but because that makes you the record holder for never being written up at a job. It happens to everyone, some more than others, but still everyone :)


Does anyone have any suggestions that would put me in less pain? I already took 1000MG of Lortab, now all I can feel are my knees
I have checked, and while they are swollen (About 300% bigger than usual) there seems to be no bone displacement and I can still move my legs so the tendons arent damaged

Regarding the pain, do You know what caused it? Here's some things i do: take a hot bath, put a heating pad on the source of pain, put ice on the source of pain, when it's my lower back i'll lay on the floor with my legs (from the knee to the feet) on the bed...putting my knees at a 90degree angle. Relaxing would probably help your pain tolerance... meditation, guided imagery, deep breathing... When all else fails i would suggest a blow job..

Status: offline 		Thanks girly, no, we lack a lot of frozen foodstuffs right at the moment, and ice makes the pain worse usually. I am keeping them elevated though, not really sure what happened today to set them off, the weather is clear I must have one something stupid in my sleep.

My knees have been completely shattered multiple times, I wont go into the disturbing details of how because they are, well disturbing... My right "knee" is in 7 seperate large pieces and hell knows how many smaller ones, the left "Knee" is in 3 large pieces, I was told by the lst doctor I saw about them (3 years ago) that the best they could offer was full knee replacement, something about them becoming calcified.

Once I find my cane I am so gonna grab a heating pad, and maybe drink a bit of rum... I have been trying breathing excersises and every relaxation technique I know of, but it isnt working.  Might see if I can grab a bath, though we have a small tub :P

((Usually Julianna is absolutely wonderful at taking care of me when they get bad, but shes at work, so the blowjob is out too :(

Honestly, i don't really know...What i *did* was not 'appropriate' i can agree with that. But the truth is it would be different if i were the only one who had behaved this way.  i think the truth of it (objectively) is that i upset my supervisor because she made this big public deal about how 'things were gona change' and blah blah blah...But, when push came to shove, even though i brought her documentation of it she was willing or capable of doing what needed to be done. So she did what people who are full of fear do...She reacted. The part where i feel *kind of* bad is that i did not necessarily act with grace and dignity cause i busted her ass out on some shit. The part i'm struggling with is that i don't really feel bad about busting her out. My motives weren't pure.......But, i don't know that i was that out of line.  The reality is it's probably a God thing...Apparently i'm still loyal to a fault... And willing to be their sacrificial lamb.
The truth is i'm not willing to make any decisions that are rash...and i'm also not stupid enough to quit when we are potentially losing 90% of our funding in two weeks and may be laid off.

  • Apply ice to reduce the swelling and ease the pain. For people who find that heat feels better, its best to finish up with ice, because the soothing effects of heat typically do not last beyond 30 minutes.
  • Take an over-the-counter non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), such as ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) or ALEVE to reduce the swelling and the pain. Analgesics such as Tylenol will help the pain but not the swelling. Ask your doctor about a prescription NSAID, such as Naprosyn or Celebrex, if the pain persists. Long term use of NSAIDs should be monitored by a physician.
  • Strengthen your leg muscles through physical therapy to provide better support to your knee joints, especially the quadriceps, which are the shock absorbers for the knee. Also use low-impact exercises such as bicycling and elliptical trainers.
i don't know if any of this will help.... i hope it will. And if only Sappa had not lost the HST i would be there in a *blink* to ahem...help You out.

Trapped i can relate.... When i'm in that place i generally repeat what i heard Him say to clarify if that's what He meant. Generally if i'm hurt about it....i'm having trouble with my filter.
