Status: offline 		Tulip, my girls are pierced.  There is almost ALWAYS nipplage.  It was kinda clingy.  It was a thin white lil camisole with a shelf bra.  Just about see through.  Hahaha!

Status: offline 		I would send hugs to everyone who is feeling sucky at the moment but don't want you to catch my flu.  I am off work today as the frackin sinus infection/flu that I have had for THREE weeks has decided to step up yet another notch so after 3 courses of antibiotics and all of the lovely side effects (women you know what they are) I am heading back to the doctor again today.

On a side note to give you a laugh...and since this is about random stupidity.... in the middle of the night I was wondering why my eucalyptus steam inhalation didn't seem to be as effective as usual...... I had put mouthwash in the inhaler!!!!!

This morning i was sitting outside of my place of employement texting my friend and a call broke through....i saw that it was my mom...i thought  to myself, " hmm... she's calling me this  early in the morning...must be something important"... So I answer the telephone and the conversation goes like this:
Me: hello
Mom: happy birthday to you...happy birthday to you...
me: uhm...okay...thanks???
Mom: Well I wanted to call you this morning and wish you a happy birthday or your birthday..
Me: uhm...Well, thanks i guess...Except that today's not my birthday.
Mom: WHAT???!! Why isn't it?
Me: uhm...well, because i was born on the 8th of July not he 7th..
Mom: Since when!!!???
Me: uhmm...well, as of tomorrow it will have been for the past  35 years.

i don't know what's worse.... i mean the fact that she seriously believed my birthday was today.......  or .......... that i found out that the only reason she called is because my sister apparently went off on her last night for not having mailed a birthday card..............................


i guess my question here for You ladies who have given birth is........ is it possible to forget the date that you gave birth to someone?  Not having ever given birth, i guess i'm at a loss...

Is there any chance your mother has some memory loss associated with age? Sometimes rather than admit they have forgotten things like dates, phone numbers, appointments etc, a person will display a sort of gruff attitude to cover up embarrassment.

i can't imagine ever forgetting one of my children's birthday, but my mother always thinks i'm a year younger than i am....i don't complain, the closer i get to 35 lol.*hugs*

Status: offline 		Ya'll are too sweet... i think the harsh reality is that sometimes when You have a child that You never wanted.... You tend to forget their birthday... It's really the only explanation i can find.... i remember one time when i was young my dad 'forced' her to celebrate my birthday the day before he went out of town for work...Seems like a pattern there.. Now that he's gone apparently my sister has taken up his role.... i actually feel very very bad and tremendously sad for my sister that she's in this position. Last year i called her on my birthday and told her i was calling so she could wish me happy birthday...LOL...
i am too far beyond blessed to even begin to adequately describe it here.
