I got my tushy outta bed and went to work and dressed and all.  It was actually a pretty decent day for once! 

I hate it that even though asshole manager is no longer at our store (quit? fired? suspeneded? lol), we got his evil more badass replacement. 

I hate it that my throat still hurts from Sunday nights incident.

I hate it that I gotta spend my last day off this week doing laundry!

I hate it that my hands are still sticky and I have washed them a lot!

I'm sitting on a crowded bus with my neighbour talking. The bus was crowded, all the seats were full and people were standing. I'm telling my neighbour how someone came to our doctor's surgery recently with swine flu and joking that I didn't know whether we were all infected or not. Then I coughed. Then my neighbour started noticing people getting up from the seats before us and behind us to stand with the others further down the bus.

But then again, maybe I should try this in a supermarket queue at the checkout when I'm in a hurry. You know, say in a loud enough voice 'Excuse me but I've got swine flu and really need to be getting back home..'

What do you think?

now...I got a nasty deep cut in my thumb and also had a moment where I sat down as I felt dizzy, HOWEVER, I am sure I felt as little pain as I did as my nerves were still a bit numb from my overdosis yanno....

So whilst it was annoying...it was a relief that it didn't hurt that much considering how deep that damn door cut into my thumb...

(and as my thumb still moved as well as always...or almost...I did not have to cancel my pm shift to get it checked...but gosh it was really a deep one).

So Holly girl...overmedicating can be great at times  (though I might have figured out a bit earlier that my thumb was between that door if my nerves would have been alert who knows )
