Live to never give half a shit what anyone says about you, whether or not what they are saying is true.
I hate it when I get several different kinds of Bad News in like a really short period of time. Between dinnertime just this past Satyrday and lunchtime Sunday, this is what happened or that I found out:
1) that my adult mentally challenged son may have molested and/or forced himself upon as many as four underaged girls. Yes, charges are being pressed and help sought, and I am supporting this action, for his sake and everyone else's.
2) that one of them was his little sister (my stepdaughter who lives elsewhere with her mother).
3) that My only vehicle is disabled until I can come up with about $700 out of the left side of My ass for repairs
4) that My comp crapped out, and let's *HOPE* it's just the *#$h&#dm* power supply and not the HD or the mother board
5) that early Sunday, the above-mentioned errant offspring, his equally mental spouse, and one of My other adult children were involved in a 4-car pileup somewhere several states away from Me, with non-life-threatening injuries.
Then again, just this morning, there was 6) My Husband's nice Hindu boss had a new grandchild born almost three months too early - fortunately in this case, a happy ending is expected (him's just a wee thing, but he's got all his parts and they seem to be working).
I think it may be time to pass the funny-tasting liquid refreshment. Or maybe a nice ten-lb. sledgehammer, I'm not sure which (witch?). In any case, this is not intended to upstage anyone else's woes, nor yet is it a pity party for a Goddess. The sun will come up again tomorrow just like it always does, and all will be well, and I and My attitude are part of the reason why. Blessed be, y'all.
