I hate it when I discover things about someone I used to know, and then question almost everything that happened, feeling like I'm suddenly in a bad episode of the Twilight Zone. (but I love it that I'm no longer involved with that person) Cali

I just got back from the vets. Around 1pm I tried to take my dog out to go pee but she was all shaky legged and wouldn't pee so we came back inside. Then on my new slippery floors she started to make this awful howling/crying sound and she spun into a wall. Belly crawled up the stairs and pee'd on the carpet. Couple of moments later she started to convulse so I carried her to my truck (dang who woulda thunk I could carry 60lbs again so easily? will be paying for that soon). When we got to the vets it took 4 of them to get her out cuz she was so scared she wedged herself between the seats. Ugh ugh ugh it was awful, she went all lethargic. Blood taken n stuff. Her blood sugar was 21. So they gave her glucose and a high glucose gloppy food forced. Took more blood. It will probably be either something meds/diet will maintain or her pancreas which he said means tumors usually malignant especially from her history the last 2 months. If it is that then yeah. I won't put her through all that. But it really could just be a sugar problem and not her pancreas. It could. Ohboy I'm tired. I lost the first post of this I was doing, which means I probably left stuff out. The stress n adrenaline have kicked my auto-immuney butt. This is a happy Mickey from early this morning. Psssst. LadyRainfire is the one that somehow got that link instruction stuff through my thick skull! Yay yay!

{{{hugs}}} Camille, I am sooo sorry. I just lost Smoochers (my kitten) Monday so I know fresh what it's like. Our furbabies mean so much to us, it hurts when they're sick and we can only do so much. I'm glad I could help, I enjoy helping people and animals. And you don't have a thick skull, you just needed it explained in a different way than what CM did. I worked in customer service for years and know that when one way doesn't work for someone, try another way rather than trying to ram the one way through. Remember there is no "one twue way"? [:)]
