I hate it when I can't get motivated to get things clean, even though I'm having guests tomorrow, and still have to get stuff ready. Someone please come and stand over me and make me clean! Or better yet, do it for me?

I hate that I've been to the grocery store twice already today. I really hate that I went into the kitchen to make some candy for tomorrow and I forgot to buy almonds at the dag gum store!

I hate it when I am cold, even when wearing my fuzzy jammies. I hate it when I feel like I need to go back to the office at some point this weekend and get more work done. I hate it when I would like to start cooking now because I like the smell of Thanksgiving food in my house. I hate it when Thing 1 mentions these yummy cookies I make at Christmas sometimes, and now I'm drooling. I hate it when I don't have the ingredients to make said yummy cookies.

I hate it that now I am finished in the kitchen I am cold. I also hate that the heater was turned off and that is why the rest of the house is so darned cold. Of course, I am the only one that notices. [>:]

Years ago, when my other recent ex (um, between Sir and this other ex, that's how i've spent most of the last 7-8years), anyhow, when he was deployed, i used to bake him cookies and package them so carefully and ship them overseas to him. He adored that. The guys he was stationed with were always so jealous.

I hate that I was seeing Christmas decoartions up in stores BEFORE Halloween. I hate that (since I am the token non-Hindu at work) I am expected to set up the tree in the lobby each year. I hate that there are at least THREE tree lots already set up between home and work.

I was the token "non-Muslim" at my old job, and was also expected to put up the tree in the lobby of the office. I have also been the token "non-Buddhist" while living in Sri Lanka. I used to tell them all that I was the "token white girl" when we did stuff as a group. I think I may be slightly beige instead of white. I recall that Tat asked me (you remember this, GT, in the parking lot of McDonalds?) if DB knew that He was dating a black woman? [:D] I think I am actually plaid instead of beige. nods
