I hate it when some wacko calls Herpes lethal and mutilating. Poor poor wack job. Hes afflicted by such a horrible disease. NOT. I think its a smack in the face to people with REAL terminal illness when someone dramas about so little.

This is not meant to sound rude or harsh.

Lushy, for him, it may be a big deal. If that's the "worst" that happens to him, he is alot luckier than many people. It's hard to say how painful his outbreaks are, unless we've experienced one ourselves. I would prefer to not experience it.

Hes alive. Hes otherwise healthy. Its a nuisance. But its not cancer or muscular dystrophy or a miriad of real debilitating and fatal diseases.

I didnt take offense but when someone is so obsessed with an illness like that that they are not truly living. I know many wonderful happy, vital people living with herpes. They are living, not dying. My mother would have happily taken herpes in place of A.L.S.

I hate it when I've decided to chat to somebody on YIM and then chat to them like..for very few mins until I just delete them off my YIM 'cause I'm not interested in having them there..then MONTHS later they pop up saying hello and I'm like whooooooooooooooo... whaaaaaaaaa????

....and it's especially annoying when they say who they are and it doesn't ring any bells

I know that feeling,when i chattet with someone with webcam last year a previous contact tried cheekily to view my webcam all of a sudden...i have an idea who it was,but wouldn't place a bet for it. It's even worse in public. Once one of our tenants approached me via my first name at the supermarket and she was puzzled that i did not recognize her at all.but heck apart from the time a while ago where her son burned down part of our house i had no contact with her, how important does people expect to stay in my mind... Also recently when i visited an agency a staff knew me and was disappointed that i did not remember her...but heck,she wasnt at my uni, and not at my current employer,i worked with her 2 years ago and even there not often....i am not really that bored to keep everyone in my mind :o(

Ha! This made me giggle. i've had guys come into my work place, ask for me by name and say "hey remember me?" My work boss cracks up at this and asks me "just how drunk did you get this weekend?"
