Status: offline 		I hate that I spoke to the vet today, and he advised me to save my money rather than spending it on a chest tap for Gracious.  He told me that while he COULD do a chest tap (and would if I insisted), that the fluid would return to her lungs sooner than later.
He said as long as she's behaving normally (as she is, aside from the shallow - and so painful to watch - breathing), then just keep loving her for now.

He said a chest tap would only give her a few more days, or at best a couple more weeks.

Honey...it sounds like congestive heart failure. Can the vet give her a diuretic to get the fluid out of the lungs?

i hate it when i am sick.
i hate it that i still had to do housework in between frequent bathroom trips (and that there is nobody else to do the work)
i hate it that my hair feels flat and lifeless.....
i hate it that i'm afraid to eat anything.
i hate it that i need to do laundry, but likely won't because i feel so crappy....

curry and summer were incredible persistent in nagging when I finally had cooked my dinner, particular summer who is a little pig about food... and I accuse them of putting me off of my hunger I had...now summer is enjoying the rest of it
