i hate that i can't fix the broken relationship between my kids and their father...i know it's not my problem to fix, but i sure as fuck wish i could, for my kids.

i'm sure my mom wishes the same thing at times. sometimes it just takes it's own course though. i understand what you mean though, i feel the same way about taking care of my brother and sister, it's not my job to raise them, especially not hundreds of miles away... but i still want to help :(
