I hate it when the PTB at the software support center for my hotels system decide that early evening (read: prime guest arrival time) is the best time to do an update, causing the servers to be down for 20 minutes... meanwhile I have 3 guests waiting to check in. THEN, once the system is back up, the credit card approval thingie isnt working. More delay for these poor guests who just want to get into their rooms. I HATE HATE HATE HATE Hotwire!!!! People... DO NOT USE HOTWIRE for hotel reservations!! They may rock on airfares and room rates.,. but about 75% of the time the hotwire reservations ARE SCREWED UP! A guy (who has already been wonderfully patient during the update) got booked into a smoking room.. it was SUPPOSED to be NONSmoking... did hotwire TELL him all we had available was smoking rooms?? HELL NO. Then, the single-use credit card number assigned to his reservation DECLINED. (I checked him in anyway..but still...) When I called Hotwire to get it straightened out... turns out that their 'hotel help desk' is only open 8am-5pm PST. Um, HELLO?? Did it not occur to anyone that, generally speaking, people tend to check in during the early evening hours? Oh yeah.. and when I called the help desk.. the SECOND option on their automated menu was "If the hotwire credit card is declining, press 2" GAWD!! ITS A KNOWN ISSUE??? FIX IT FFS!!!! /end rant

i hate that people can't be more humane to animals. some assfuckingidiot was riding his bike earlier and practically dragging his poodle behind him, the poodle was obviously exhausted and needed water so i pulled over and said i'd take his dog for him and i would have. he told me to suck his dick and started coming for the car... well my son was with me so he got out of the car and pushed the dude off his bike and told him to leave me alone (i know he shouldn't have but he did), then he picked up the puppy and we gave it some water in the car and called 911. the cop showed up and by then there were witnesses willing to say they saw the asswipe dragging the dog behind him and the guy got a ticket and a number to call for a court date. animal abuse is now a felony in UT and this guy fucking deserves it. oh yeah, the asswipe told the cop my son pushed him off his bike and the cop told my son since he was defending me, no problem....nice man he was. some people should need a permit to be born.

I hate it when people hit a raccoon, and leave it to die on the road with her babies next to her. Just finished bottle feeding and having a rehabber pick up the most adorable baby raccoon that was left to die of dehydration on the road. Now it has a chance!
