I don't have skateboarders..but I do have neighborhood kids that come into the hotel to use the restrooms (leaving them a mess), raid the candy bowl thats on the counter, and hang out in the lobby to use our wifi for their internet cellphones... I run them off..the same little bastards every time..and each time they claim theyve never been here before... yeah.. thats why they know exactly where to find the toilets and candy bowl, and that we have wifi...

Okay, gotta love this... I just talked to a police officer, out of desperation, and asked if there was anything we could do other than running them off every day. She says, well, I'm saying this as a mother... take their skateboards, give them your business card, and tell them that their parent has to come with photo ID to pick up the skateboard (just like if they take a skateboard to school and the principal confiscates it). So I said, aren't they going to call the police and say I stole their skateboard? And she said they might, but we don't have a lot of sympathy for them, so the police officer will come to your office and ask what happened, then go talk to the parents himself. She said if they file civil suit then they have to explain to the judge why they feel they have the right to disrupt your business and vandalize your property, and THAT never goes well for them. i hate when i start a thread out of a desire and i walk away with feeling like people think i'm stupid or being critisized. i hate when i'm not sure what's realy and what's imaginary.... i hate when i have told Him i'm going to do something while He's gone and i can't even stay awake at the computer....... i hate when i can't outguess Him to figure out whether the punishment would be worst if i went to sleep now, or started what i'm supposed to be doing and finished as much as i can and then sleep...hmmmmm.. i hate when my damn psychic powers are on the brink!! red, i know exactly what you are saying right now. i've done it a lot over the years, i find that when i'm stressed i do it. it's a wonder how resilient and understanding our children are of us and our foibles. hugs.

Thing 2 came out after her bath and asked me to braid her hair then asked if she could sleep with me tonight. All I could do was hug her and cry, and tell her that her blankie was clean if she wanted to bring it to bed with her, too. I hate having meltdowns, esp. when I write about them here because I feel like an attn whore, which I never want to be. (unless it's for a really good reason, and that reason must be chock-full of silliness)
