I'm soooooooo hungry and reading about christines brisket didn't help. Too sleepy/lazy or maybe it is from the rum thingies but I am not about to go forage in the kitchen. Brisket. Dang. I love a slow cooked brisket.

I hate that it has been almost two years and it still feels like it happened yesterday and that I see him weekly and I can't bring myself nor do I have the desire to let someone else get that close again.

I hate when someone e-mails me on the other side and says they have seen me out and about in r/t and I have no idea who they are or what they look like plus were they say they saw me I am typically with me things.

Kalista, My mom sounds alot like yours. She has forgotten my birthday the past 4 years, hell she even forgets her grandkids birthdays yet I get a guilt trip for being 3000 miles away. For me I stopped expecting it, so it stopped hurting so much when she did crap like this and IF by some miracle she does call then it is pleasant suprise. I had to put distance physically and emotionally b/c it was things like this that put me over the edge on a normal basis. Sometimes it's our families that hurt us the most b/c it's our family that we are most vulnerable to. (hugs) and happy birthday. Nika
