i hate it when my scale won't tell me how much i weigh. it looks blankly at me then turns off.

and i hate that my internet has decided the last few days that it turns into a pumpkin at midnight and no matter what i do i can't get it to connect. i REALLY hate that!

I just got back from several hours of relentless boredom at a quasi-family get together.  The exploding head comes from the insanely immature girl who of course decided to BREED and then by dint of having given birth became the universal expert on newborns.  Will NOT hear a peep from her mom or anyone else.  This poor little INFANT was STARVING, but the expletive that is her mother would rather WAIT to feed her in the hope of generating a full night's sleep!!  So they shoved a PACIFER in her mouth!  Eleven weeks old!!  Pacifiers are a whole world of Don't Get Me Started, but not feeding a tiny baby who is making that piteous FEEEEED me cry (which is instantly recognizable, and totally separate from all other cries)  absolutely makes me INSANE.

OMG.  Mom and I launched into a total RANT the second we hit the car.  But what can we do?  We have enough on our plates with the faux-grandchild and his yuppie parents.  (Dad is from Russia, and now has the little dude TERRIFIED of him.  Lovely.)

And the thing is? I don't like kids.  I am really really good with them, but I don't like them.  How come Little Me, an avowed Nonbreeder, is more child savvy than these marooooooons who are cranking them out?  I am certain that the years of teaching are not the only reason. 

GAH!!    /rant.

I have the same curse Hib, except with me, it's cats.  I'm a cat whisperer, but I hate the little furballs.  Sigh.

i hate it that the puppy i got 10 years ago may very well have to be put down. i'll miss him and it's not diminished by the fact that he was in the ex's custody for the last 3 years. my out-laws adore him and will be devasted if he needs to be euthanised as well, but for his breed he's had an extraordinarily good life. i wish i could go see him again before it happens (if it happens)

i hate that my daughter who is going to be staying with me has a puppy and that today i'm going to have to tell her that the puppy needs to be elsewhere, i just can't take it anymore...it's harder than having a toddler around.

christine, I know it's tough having a puppy around.  I've been watching a program on National Geographic Channel called "The Dog Whisperer".  The host's name is Ceasar Milan (sp?) and applying his insight and advice to training our 2 Jack Russell Terriers.  On the female, especially.  His methods of dog behavior modification really work!  Her personality is as lovable as ever, but the things she was doing to get on my nerves aren't nearly as bad, and will keep getting better with further training.  I hope you will try obediance training with the puppy for a while, before disowning it from the family.

i'm not disowning it, just trying to find somehwere else for it for the 2-3 weeks my daughter will be here with me.  i signed up for my daughter when i got pregnant with her...not my daughter and a very unruly puppy lol.

I hate it when I'm gazing at a totally rideable bald head, with the bonus of a mustache and goatee, which happens to belong to someone who placed a personal ad in the introductions section, and when I try to post something, the thread has already been yanked and I never even noticed his name so I can go stare at him some more.

And I hate it when I cannot contain the run-on sentences (but dangggg, you shoulda seen his head!).
