Okay I have one...I hate it when a guy practically stalks you on this site and then when you repeatedly shut him down but very gently because ridiculous or not he's still human and then in his journal (which he emails you a copy of) it details how much I suck and HE was interested in me but I kept bothering him. WTF okay I feel better :)

When I read it, he had not posted yet. I am not going to bother responding though, because it is OBVIOUS that he has no clue about women's health, the health-care system, or the institutionalization of health-care. Being in the group he talks about.. you know those slackin pregnant women who take off tons of time for no reason.... I have been there every day... morning sickness.. pucking into a bucket and all. Even when I thought I was having a miscarriage I tried to hang in there trying to convince myself it was nothing because I did not want to dip out of work... but the pain was too much and I left 45 mins early that day instead of my usual leaving early on Friday for all the extra time I work over. People like that have no bloody clue about women at all. And are too fucking damaged to see beyond thier own pain and hurt of being done wrong once or twice so they cloak half of the whole population in the same hatred. Gwyn

Of course, this is also the boss that saw me working day after day while some stupid menstral cramps kept getting worse. I finally wnet to the doctor (feeling like a wuss) and guess what, they weren't cramps, but a cyst bigger than my ovary. Later, he was the one that picked me up from the ER because the stupid thing burst. I worked while preggers, until they put me in the hospital. I have worked with a broken foot. I have worked hungover. Now, do not get me wrong, I am not a superwoman. But the fact of the matter is, women work while in pain or discomfort just like men do. And I do believe that the research shows that women have a higher pain tolerance. And as far as the "getting all that time off after a baby" goes. The fact is, the doctor is NOT going to release you back to work until a certain number of weeks have passed. (It depends on natural or c-section and any complications) And anyone that has either had a baby or has known someone that has, knows that those first few weeks are not a fairytale vacation. Argh! Some people.
