Holy crap hun... make sure she stays far far away from people like that.. and away from areas where that shit happens.

I have seen it too many times where someones child who wasnt even involved in the fight got killed. That was one of the saddest parts of police work.

We cant keep em locked in in the cellar.. but sometimes you want you. It's rough out there.

Hopefuly next time she sees a bad argument, she will leave the area immediatly. Where people used to fight with thier fists, get it over with and be ok friends again~ now they pull out guns. Makes me wonder what the fuck happened.

it was one of those "at the wrong place at the wrong time" in this situation ...she doesn't know the people involved.  she was merely waiting for bus after leaving school. i wish, however, could thank the police officer who shielded her during the first gunfire.

You can, even if you don't know his name and can't do it personally... Make a contribution to the Widows and Orphans or Benevolent Fund for the Police Department with the words thank you for my Child's Life.  Some city's allow citizens to pay for or contribute to the cost of a Bullet Proof Vest also..ask at the local precinct. You can help them in return this way.

*smiles* I am doing great.. Finaly got every last bit of shit in for my classes.. *happy dances* I have some lovely Doms I am talking to... *big huge smile* all of them are great.. one in particular.. *sighs happily* Work is good.. they are training me on a different function tomorrow.. *hurray* I hate the one I am doing currently.  

The baby is bouncing around like Ricohet Rabbit most nights.. but when I am up durring the day she is lulled to sleep by all the motion. 9:30-11pm when I realy realy wanna go to bed.. she is the party girl in the tummy.

I am hoping to get my finacial aid for school here shortly. I have some school expenses I really need to take care of. So that will be nice.

I am *really* showing now at 15 weeks. I have to threaten folks who wish to turn me into a great big Buddah. Some of the women at the office are just wonderful.. they drop me by chocolates and pickles.. and ask me how I am feeling/doing. So that is nice.

I hate it that I need new clothes. I like my clothes.. But I am going to have to break down and buy some.. or make some.

I also hate it that all of the fashionable nursing bras were too small for me *before* I got pregnant. They are for wee boobed people.

I hate it that I miss so many of my friends.. but I love it that I have them to miss in the first place.

The baby is comming so fast it seems.. but then I think I can not wait to see them ya know? I need to really do some planning and re-arranging before then. whoo so much to do.

Oh I intend to... between taking care of her drunk assed son, and his kids.. and her being over there 5 times a day harrasing me.

The kids needed the help.. but my Gods.

I was literialy a 24/7 on call nurse for his ass for 2 months.... I didnt ask to be paid. I freaking should have.

but that is how rich people stay rich.. they squeeze it out of the folks around them.. and only help themselves.

That is a great idea. You can also call the precinct... they will have a record of who all were on site, and in thier next pre-shift briefing they can tell them all you said thank you as well.

So many times thank yous never come.. it is not nessasary.. but it sure is nice and makes you feel good.. and that you picked the right job.
