quote:
I agree. Yes, it was a shame, and something horrible, and I also hate that it happened to begin with. But, it was seven years ago now. Does anyone even remember anything else that happened seven years ago (without looking it up)? I sure as hell don't. My sympathies are there for everyone involved, but, it's over and gone. I hate that we have to just keep on beating a dead horse. I can't even remember what happened YESTERDAY! I agree, it happened 7 years ago, it was TRAGIC! It was HORRIFIC! It's OVER! I say this to the folks that did not suffer a loss, you just saw it on tv. Sure, it affected you as an American, but let's move on. I'll never forget the feeling of not being able to reach my family in PA, but I'm not going to keep talking about it each year. Thank God they're alright so I'm able to move on. If you suffered a loss, my apologies if you find this offensive but it's not directed at you. In the spirit of the thread, I hate how people love to hang onto tragedies. They'll milk it for all its worth. ** Someone on the news................"Gasp, I was 16 miles away, it could have been me"!!!!**
