Tulip... I still have 2.5 hrs at work.. maybe it'll simmer down by then.. I've taken aspirin, but it hasnt seemed to have touched it at all.  *grumble* I'll stop at the store on the way home and get some of that excedrin migraine formula..

Status: offline 		Aw, i'm sorry Greedy.....Have You tried any real caffeine (sp?).  Sometimes when i get migraines it's induced from either not enough water or some other crazy ass reason.... Lots of water and real pop a lot of times help.

i hate the kind of floors we have in this place...  i hate that when He wakes up He'll have no freaking idea how hard i've been working....

i hate money...just...in general.

Status: offline 		Kali.. yeah, I drink Mt Dew..loads of caffeine LOL  I've been alternating between water and Mt Dew all day (have a litre of each sitting next to me at the desk).  I think part of it is being in dire need of a visit to the chiropractor, part of it is seriously needing new contacts.

Red enjoy the Chinese food..and the friend..trust me..it is worth it. (loves Chinese food and misses china town in NY)

LilSub try breathing deep and meditating a little, it may help to use the same processes you use for playing..when we fear the pain and anticipate it, it actually becomes worse in our perception.. A Pain Clinic can help you do this

Gwyn dear...you cat needs to learn the difference between yours and mine...try one of the travel mugs with a top.

Greedy try a cup of extra strong coffee...that will generally help. I have been known to eat a teaspoon of instant coffee when starting a migraine and it nips it in the bud..NOT for you Gwyn..for GREEDY.

Kali relax and do something special with the groceries he brings home. trust me, he is happy for the beautiful, intelligent, compassionate woman he has in his life named Kali...Money is nice to have, but frankly, there are other riches that are far better to have and you have at least 10 of them.

I also hate it when Cleo decides to sit her ass almost on my key board.. and tap me rapidly in the face with her tail.

She hates it when I bite her tail she has just been smacking me in the mouth with.

I hate it that I dont know what to eat. & now I want crabby goodness...

sweety, have you tried chickory? or what about coffee essence in some milk?

In 1808 he began the 'Continental Blockade' that blocked the import of coffee into France. Desperate for their morning brew, the French turned to roasted chicory root to extend what coffee they had. They found that they actually preferred the sweeter, richer taste of the coffee-chicory blend, and continued to make coffee this way even when coffee was made available again. The sweet flavor of roasted chicory root is due to the conversion of the storage starch inulin into fructose (fruit sugars) during the roasting process.

Coffee with chicory was widely used in the U.S. during World War II when coffee shipments were disrupted. It is regaining popularity as a coffee additive today because of the sweet roasted flavor it imparts to coffee, plus it is naturally caffeine-free.

Status: offline 		Went for chinese food with my neighbor and had a really nice conversation.  He's a nice person and since both of us were in the ER last night, one right after the other, he said that we deserved to have a late lunch at the little restaurant near home.  It was definitely worth being able to sit outside and eat and laugh about some of our crazy neighbors, etc.

I hate it that I still am itchy, but I've got meds and calamine lotion, so it'll get better, just a matter of time.  I hate that it's 7:45 p.m. and it's pitch black outside.  (I hate this part of this time of year.)

I hate that I didn't get jack done to clean up my apt this weekend and I'm ready to throw a lit match on everything and just say phuk it.  *sigh*

Status: offline 		I hate it when Thing 1 has a meltdown of apocolyptic proportions and is so disrespectful to me that he sounds like his father, who is also extremely bipolar.  I also hate that the only thing to do was have his dad come over and get him and talk to him because I am at my wits end.  I hate that this whole thing came completely out of the blue and brought out the worst in me as a mother and human being.  I hate that Thing 1 and I are both feeling emotionally injured and I know that deep down, all we both want to do is make this right.  I am glad that it will be made right soon because it always is, but phukking hell, this part of the process is a bitch and a half.

Status: offline 		When my kids were young Erma Bombeck made it possible for me NOT to strangle and bury them in the middle of Central park. Believe me it was tempting at times. They have melt downs..and will until they are out of the house and then they will have meltdowns and bring them home  remember you can get even...all without doing one blessed thing that will get DCF looking at you sideways.

Take them to school or pick them up, wearing your tattiest house dress, the one you clean bathrooms and basements in, with your hair in curlers and a scarf. Insist on kissing them goodbye and hello in front of their friends..ask if they want to rent the newest younger kiddie movie (Barney, Strawberry Shortcake, Curious George) and have all their friends over to watch it and have some milk and cookies after school. Well you get the idea. When they complain about you doing this..point out you will respect their age when they respect you and yours while acting theirs.
