i wish i could some how wave my magic wand and take all the pain, anguish, anger, and all those other intense and many times overwhelming feelings away.  i've been where You are at (from what little i know) too many times to count.  Please don't guard your heart away too much.  Because the truth is, once hidden, it's difficult to let it out again.  Somehow that cage that  you originally design to protect you because the very cage that ends up holding you captive.  i'm sorry things did not work out for you the way you wanted them to.... That sucks.
In June of 2007 i met a 'man' from here and went to his home. Through a series of decisions on my  part i put myself in a position to be severly hurt.  i was raped, beaten, held 'captive', and otherwise assaulted.  While that is one of the most horrible things i've been through, it also put me on the path to meet Him whom i love now.  It was at a point in time where not only did i not think it was worth it, but was almost convinced it would never happen to me.  i was determined that i was NOT going to love this guy........And here i sit tonight....Home....With Him....Again...Knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that this indeed is where i belong.
Never before in my life have i felt so loved, valued, cared about, nurtured, supported, respected, or many many MANY other things that make me appear to mushy to mention.
Please know if there's anything i can do my cmail box is always open to you.

I am back home, I spent the afternoon and evening with friends who held me close today when I needed it. they will be here again on the 6th when my son was found dumped in the woods. They held me close and when I could not help but cry, did not judge me weak or foolish for allowing it to still affect me so much 16 years later. Anyone who has lost a loved one, husband, child, sister, brother or parent to violence knows the pain never lessens, never goes away though you can push it down from time to time. I pray no one else I know ever has to face it, though I know LadyJane did and others have, through war, crime or accident.  I ask each and every one of you, to remind yourself, no matter how mad you are with someone, how disappointed, harried or stressed as you start your day and end your evenings, that life is gone in the blink of an eye sometimes. Never let them go without a hug, a kiss and an I love you, you will regret every day if you do and something happens, or they will.

Christine, stay strong and never fear to give your heart. You are a fantastic woman and somewhere is someone looking for no one but you. We all have false starts and often they happen when we rush, even though it is so hard not to. Do not hide that beautiful heart of yours behind a wall of steel, it is one of the things that makes you so very, very special, in its tenderness, gentleness and courage. Take time to heal and know you are loved by many here, just for the person you are. Also know this sister of my heart..we WILL vet anyone who you are willing to introduce us to as a prospect, and there are many who will tell you if you are moving to fast, BUT, there isn't a one of us who will not hope and pray for you to find the right one and who doesn't know that YOU are the only one who has to make a choice as to whether someone is worthy of you in the finale.

Status: offline 		i was going to post, to rant about how i hate that my lady is so ill and i'm worried about the wee and there's not a damn thing i can do to fix it or even help, but it feels like a much smaller deal really, when you read about something like what Poen's been through.  Makes it seem almost churlish to complain.  Still, please send Gwyn and the wee positive energy, you lot.  You'll be in our thoughts Poen, both today and on the sixth, and, well, after because i know it doesn't end there for you.
