You've never seen Bad Santa?...with Billy Bob the little person and Bernie Mac?....Badder Santa is just a bit less edited....and fits my sophomoric, American Pie sorta humor....but,sometimes I am really a 15 year old boy stuck in a 50 year old mans body when it comes to funny stuff!

i hate it that a good friend of mine lied to me yesterday. he opted to become couch potato (for some damn wrestling) after putting my reputation and name on the line to add him (and his gf) on the VIP guest list for a mega rock show i covered ...this also guaranteed them entry to the afterparty.

this is not the first time he has done this - we were suppose to go another event last week however his gf conveniently had a "wedding" to attend.

so to my friend - don't expect another VIP invite from me again!

also i hate that my back is hurting after partying all night long

I hate it that a couple months ago I couldn't think of anything to post here, and now I keep coming back here.

My stepdad died of cancer last week, my mom is hurting and far away and I can't help her, the holidays are bearing down on me making me feel horribly homesick, and the company I worked for downsized and I was laid off. I hate that I've lived here 7 years and only have one friend in Michigan to call. I want to go home. I want to not by so sad that the only way I can express it is anonymously on the internet.

For anyone who doesn't know, ALS is amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's Disease. It is a progressive disease that destroys nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord so that instructions from the brain cannot reach the muscles to instruct them to move. The muscles retain the ability to move (although they will atrophy from lack of use), they just cannot "hear" the instructions from the brain to do so.

There is currently one drug approved by the FDA that slows the progression of the disease.

The only drug availabe slows down the progression by 3 months. 3 measly months! i hate that!
