I don't think that any of us are not aware that things in our lives could be so much worse.  But sometimes people need to vent, just to let off a bit of steam.  I'm sorry to hear of your troubles, and I'll grant that in the grand scheme of things my car problems, Holly's wrist surgery, etc are not comparable to your issues.  BUT personally speaking, in MY world... having to repair a transmission and not having the funds to do so IS pretty serious.. no wheels = no way to get to work.  No way to get to work = no job.. and it goes downhill from there.. so yeah.. it's a BIG problem.

Status: offline 		And the form I have to fill out for the retirement funds means that I'm cashing out my last retirement account so that I can live for the next couple of months.  It's the last of my money on this earth.  After this, if I have any kind of emergency/financial difficulty, I'm chit outta luck.

I completely second what Linea said.  This is a thread, on a message board, on a BDSM site, on the internet.  It's in the Random Stupidity section as was noted.  Sometimes, we post about silly hates, and sometimes we post about serious hates.  The thread is what people make of it.  The low points in our lives are not up for some contest as to who has the worst life.  Whatever makes us feel crappy, is worth the posse gathering and giving lots of warmth and support to those who need it.  You sound like you are dealing with quite a lot, just from day to day.  For what you endure that sucks ass in your daily life, we offer up hugs and prayers, and supportive cmail boxes.

Please don't criticize others who are dealing with issues that you find trivial, compared to your personal trials.  This is not what the thread is about.  We don't do that here.  We support and love and offer our Random Stupidity to those who may just need a smile to let them know we care.  Venom towards other posters on this thread is not very mannerly, even when you are dealing with traumatic events in your own world.  Please be respectful.

Status: offline 		Toddlefeet..I don't know if you will read this or not..but you just did an awful lot of pissing and moaning and castigating others for the same thing.  This is a thread where people share their burdens, their fears, their crashes and despair and receive lifting hands on those days when things just seem overwhelming. There are very few here that have an easy life. We may not have CF, but we do have people with emphysema, bi-polar, depression, lupus, cancer, PTSD, and more ailments, physical, psychological and emotional than one would think. Some of us have lost people in the recent past and further back or are losing people we love now. This thread is for those times when we crash and burn and sometimes the people who are here, who care are the ONLY ones who don't judge, don't say suck it up but instead  just reach out and offer comfort,  acceptance, tears of commiseration and sometimes laughter.

We share our pain here and our triumphs in another thread, and what you don't see is the number of people who reach out and talk, live to those who are hurting. I might not have made it through this past month without some of the people here, not just with health issues of which I have more than a few that have had me fully disabled since 1989, but profound depression over my sons murder. He would have been 34 this month, the anniversary of his death 16 years ago was this month, and the pain is just as fresh today as it was the day I found out. Another of our members almost lost her daughter, and another lost two relatives within days of each other, one to suicide. Without people who care enough to listen(read) and call, that pain is devastating and rarely ends. No drug makes it better, no treatment ends that pain.

Before you explode all over people, stop and think how much do you really know about them. Do you know that I have my dog trained to support me so I can get up and and not bump into walls when my neuropathy affects my balance. do you know I am going blind slowly, or that I have PTSD and DID, Diabetes, Emphysema and Asthma? do you know what ills any of us have..or have you read your way through all 792 pages to catch up with our lives to know.

Seems to me you missed a lot that happened just in this past month, but more..that you missed the purpose of this thread, a safe place to vent, to yell, to cry, to share and have at least one person care.

Welcome to the I hate thread..we get that you feel life sucks with CF. We agree. Care to vent?

Status: offline 		LOL ok..you got the wrong impression miho, heh. I hace depression issues too,due to the CF and the loss of of losing others. .. I have friends that have other illness other than CF. My rant? wasnt at people with depression issues, illnesses, suicides, grief  over losses in life etc. I was simply refereing to those that live there life with out those kinds of things in them, that just bitch, piss & moan about every day normal shit, of oh so how hard it is. dishes.,paying bills., doing chores etc. You so completly misunderstood my friend. -shrugs- no harm no foul.

Status: offline 		I lost a friend to suicide the early morning hours of a past birthday..I lost an only friend I had in grade school to drowning., I lost a friend to aids and the rest to CF. I share your pain in your losses and grieving. my heart goes out to you.  I'm not fussing you nor anyone else here in CM for that. my rant was taken out of context. -groans- Can we drop this please..seriously? ugh.

And someday, when I'm feeling very, very brave, I will make it down your way & meet you both, poen.  Course after His Evilness, I can probably face anyone.

I loved that show!  My favorite line from it was Suzanne saying "Push up bras?  Women like me don't wear push up bras.  We'd suffocate!"  (grins at Red and her "F's")
