ORIGINAL: SavageFaerie I know I have mentioned this several times, but I live with my sister to help take care of her sick diabetic cat. He has taken a turn for the worse and isnt rebounding like before. We had already decided that the next trip to the vet would be the last. We are waiting for them to open to call them. My sister hasnt been to work the last two days wanting to spend as much time with him as possible. Im dying a bit inside, Pye and I have been close for many years even when I came for short visits. Now he is my only form of devoted affection. I barely slept last night as he was restless, getting drinks from the little bowl I have on my bed table at the end of the bed ( I have the top bunk) to moving down by my feet to coming back up for a tight cuddle. I feel like Im dying a bit inside and I know my sister is, he is one of her two fur kids of 13 years. She has never been married and decided early that motherhood wasnt for her, so these are her children. I'm so sorry, SF!!! {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{BIG HUGS}}}}}}}}}}} Believe me when I say I know how you feel. I've been down that road & it is NOT easy but you're doing the best thing you can for your furbaby. Are you going to be able to stay in the room w/him when the Dr. gives him the shot? Don't worry about crying, I bawled like a baby each time but was so glad that I was there.
