My daughter and her partner have a couples profile here, ut I have always been open with my adult ums. If I ran across a likely 2nd for them via my cmail I would refer them to their profile. Keep it in the family. I love the first time she figured out she was sub and called about how she was feeling at one time, and I told her she was in sub space and to just go with it.

Gwyn may wind up on bed rest at this rate, poor thing. Glad he stopped the contractions though.

GT, are they sure the problem is in the transmission and not the input speed sensor? Because my minivan just had this happen, couldn't go into overdrive. We went (slowly) to an auto parts store and borrowed their code reader, and then asked The Man's son-in-law who is an auto mechanic for Dodge what it meant. Cost $20 for the part and maybe 15 minutes to swap it.

Poor Gwyn, I hope she gets some rest, when my daughter had her last and 3rd (surrgate mother to my best friend) bless her heart she had the dreaded Braxton hicks for 3 months with dialiation at times. Then when she actually went into labor, her water broke but slightly, they told her to just take it easy and come in when the contractions got harder. IDIOTS by the time they decided to go in it was comprmoised due to no barrier. The wee um ended up with menigitis infection 2 weeks later and it was damn scary. Luckily it was caught on onset and the drs dont think there is any perm damage.

Gwyn dont rush the date its better for the wee one if he stays put for term or close too.

i hate having to work inside a cold concert venue last night (they had the heat on but you couldn't feel it) ...i hate that i want to snuggle under the blankets and sleep instead of working on photos.

time to find some coffee...

GT will you PLEASE take it easy? Honey if you wear nothing but a white blouse and a white skirt, you will be lovely ( and I can loan you the skirt ) I have a floor length pleated one that WILL fit you..(don't think my blouses will fit). Should get the laminater into the mail and out to you this weekend. Catering is covered, guest list is closed, transport was already taken care of by you, blood tests and license have to wait until he gets here, hotel is arranged and the venue. Even if Gwyn is on bed rest and can't do the cake..it WILL get done.

GT, i can't cook worth a damn, but for what it's worth, if Gwyn can't do the cake, i can. It wouldn't even present a problem, since baking is where my strengths relocated themselves. Sewing isn't an issue either. We've both done the whole Rennaisance/SCA/wedding seamstress deal. So, you can consider us Gwyn Inc., and it will happen. No worries.

Poen, she didn't use a mirror. She used my (rather inept) fingers. All i can say is that it's a far cry from checking dilation on a Great Dane.

She was dilated and she was sure as heck contracting all over the place (more than 10 hours before we went to the hospital), but her dilation wasn't as far along as we'd thought. It's good that Gabriel's waiting, but damn, i hate to see her hurt like that, and to feel so very helpless. i just want her home and healthy and happy. The boys too.

Edited to add: Uhm, this is soft posting. i didn't realize that the lady was still signed into CM. Sorry.

Hang in there soft and you just worry about taking care of the incubator and talking Gabriel into staying put for now. Call me if you need her ordered into resting, she WILL try to do too much. Do NOT be afraid to use rope to keep her in bed.

Yeppers.. got there.. and it was full stop. Way too early.

Poor Soft didnt even take time to go potty so I dont forsee a blog from the hospital. LOL ~ Though it did occur to me. Hey I can type between contractions right? LOL

Yeah it is very fustrating being so close.. and then poof.

I am so over the BH. It is scary the whole thing with your Daughter. I had an iron clad bag of waters last time.. I was 3 weeks over due with him.. and the Dr had a hell of a time breaking the bag of waters. (3 goes at it) poor lil guy had scratches on his head from it finally being punctured.

So I will sit here and stew.... and wait. And try not to have damn contractions.

Thanks hun,

I am ok.. no bed rest.. just drink pleanty of fluids... rest.

So I am kicked back on the sofa.. drinking water like mad.

Keep all of ya'lls fingers crossed for this job.

It is actually in the industry I miss working in, and am most knowledgeable. As well as being a *good* position.

Yeah she has no fear of being stern with me. All it usually takes is just that look she gives me with her big brown eyes. *sighs*

Soft is a great baker, and I already have the cake recipe, and frosting recipes lined up.

She can also sew really well. *happy smiles* It is what drew us together in the first place.

Just dont set her loose in a kitchen and ask her to cook. ( thankfully the smoke detector is in the hall way) LOL
