Sweetheart, At least you ::knock on wood:: don't have the "pup Rash" ( I think that's what my Dr. Called it)

My last trimester, I broke out in a rash all over my stomach, chest, wrists, back, and ankles. Nothing helped it. it itched like crazy! I used aveeno oatmeal lotions, calamine, switched soaps, laundry detergent, EVERYTHING. Nothing helped. I went to my Dr for my check up, and he told me that I had a pup rash. I said "ummm.. what does that mean?" His reply: "You're allergic to being pregnant!"

It turns out that I am allergic to the hormone that goes through your body that causes contractions. The closer I come to my due date, the worse the rash got.

So smile. It could be worse!!

For gary's sake, it's amazing we have Things at all, isn't it?

My body treats pregnancy like an allergy. The really high hormone count is great for baby, but terrible for me. I didn't nothing but puke from week 6 to week 28 with Thing 1, and from week 6 to week 34 with Thing 2. The only thing that helped me after trying everything else in my doctor's arsenal was Zofran (Rx usually given to cancer patients to help them with the chemo nausea). It was perfectly safe to take, and it was the only thing that kept me out of the hospital from dehydration because I'd already developed a subcorionic bleed from vomiting so violently.

Geez... it's a wonder the world's population hasn't screeched to a halt.

I hate it that my Uncle Sandy Claus is going to have surgery on his colon & he's not really sure what the problem is. I hate it that my family is getting old & infirm. I hate it that I'm scared for him.

i hate it that i got a call from my sons doctor saying our insurance rejected the bill for his flu shot, since it is his THIRD one this month. WTF??? He only had one shot. The billing office suggested someone may be using our insurance...as in identity theft. Oh goody.

did you and Jim get flu shots as well? i'm hoping it's just a wrong keystroke. but, you may also want to check yours and Jim's credit reports, just to be safe, if you're concerned about identity theft.

Arrrrrrgghhhh, I came here to say that I hate it that my family appears to be snubbing Lumus and our marriage, still calling me by my maiden name even though I've repeatedly told them my new married name. And sent them mail with it.....

Only to find that holly might be fighting ID theft. holly, you'll be in my prayers that it's only a simple error on the billing office's part. I've gone through ID theft 3 times and it's a BITCH!
