Status: offline 		I really dislike that I I talk so much when I am nervous.  I rang a friend today to help me with some blog stuff (honest.... that was the ONLY reason why I called him....coughs) and when I was saying goodbye I said it was nice to talk with him and he laughed and said he never actually got a chance to say anything. 

(my real rant is that one of my best friends told me to remember to breathe and to talk slowly when I was talking to her just before ringing him and I still forgot to do both)

Status: offline 		Ok, so Mistress bought peanut butter chocolate chips so I could make cookies cause that is my favorite.  It was a happy, fun thing she did to reward me.  And so yesterday I made the cookies along with some butterscotch ones to take to a party and because those are Master's favorite.   I had a couple of the broken ones when they came out, but I was really excited to have one or two today... and my family is coming to visit.  Woo hoo!  I can share with them... Yay!

Well while we were out last night, Master's 17 y.o. um ate ALL the cookies that were made for me!  I'm talking 3 dozen!  I'm so disappointed.  And they told me it's my fault for not separating them so he didn't have all of that kind in one container. 

It never would have occureed to me 1. that he would eat that many.  2. that I should put some of this some of that in one container.  I see keeping them separate to be organized.  3.  that now I need to hide stuff if I want to have any of it. 

So now, I get no reward.  And I did all that work baking them too!

I'm mad.

Status: offline 		Sunshine, teen aged boys eat everything and then do it all over again two hours later. We separate things and label "Do Not Touch" if needed. My oldest puts her name on the Arizona Sweet Tea despite her being the only one who ever buys the stuff because otherwise her brother will drink it when he doesn't like the other options.

She used to hide her Halloween candy in her underwear drawer and had quite a shock when one of her brother's friends started searching for it.

They eat everything that isn't nailed down and if they can pry it up, it isn't nailed down. However, in this case since you didn't know about his eating habits she really ought to buy you some more chips or give you the money for supplies to make more. Because you don't have a teenager and therefore shouldn't be expected to know about this. It was her fault for not telling you ahead of time.

There would be an Ass Kicking in my house. Even if it was my own son. And then he would be cleaning the house for a MONTH for taking something that he didn't ask for, and for disrespecting all the members of the house for eating ALL of something that he didn't contribute for.

I would be having a conversation with all members of the house about this as if it does not get regulated now it will be happeneing a LOT. If he is to think he is allowed to eat whatever he wants then nothing is off limits and no one should have to hid food in thier own home.

The 17 year old needs to replace what he took.

This kinda shit just pisses me off.

Having lived in a few Sober Houses food is stolen all the time it was the main contributing factor for moving into my own place.

Status: offline 		Big hugs, Sunny.  I gotta say I'm with Steel on this one.  One of the jobs of a parent is to teach the offspring how to act & help them grow into adults, not just large children.  It's true that teenage boys are constantly eating, but some self-restraint could be taught too.  However, we don't really know everything about the circumstances here, so I'll shut up on that note.  And go back to commiserating with you on the loss of the cookies & the reward that you didn't get to enjoy.

Status: offline 		I would be upset too, and if it was me I'd be expecting something to be said to the son  about not being greedy and pigging out on someone elses cookies, And even if I didn't expect it, as the one on the end of the kneel, I if I was the parent certainly would have a talk with the greedy little bugger, and I would NOT  of said that it's your fault cause you didn't separate them into different containers.
