I love it when Christine was here for me tonight, which was hell. When I got home, she and the underlings had cleaned my place, made dinner, and were being quiet while I made my way over to my Dad and cried my heart out because that seemed like the thing to do. (I just love this sweet gal, what a dear friend.) I wish that DB could have been here. One of His big hugs would've made this day a little better.

i love it when the pain from my surgery tuesday has finally gotten to a bearable level and i'm able to cut back on the serious pain meds to an otc variety. they did end up taking both toes, which my doc nicknamed phineas and ferb. i was teasing him about the fact that you can tell which docs have kids because they know the names to the most popular cartoon characters. i also love that the surgical center i went to did the surgery without demanding i have an iv because i'm such a horrible stick and i was able to be awake and alert through the whole amputation process and be out of the hospital an hour later! best procedure i've had in years. my sincere thanks to all for their prayers and support! PM edited for stupid finger syndrome!
