Just tired?  That's all it means?  Well fiddlefuck... I thought it meant so wiped out that you could barely put one foot in the front of the other, as if you'd been rode hard and put away wet several times in succession, as if you were so dehydrated from all the squirting that you were thinking of getting an IV, as if you'd been flogged into one continuous orgasm that seemed to last for days....

Just... tired.

I love it when I get an email from Thing 1's teacher that doesn't make me cringe and want to throw myself in traffic.  My big guy has had a great week and is starting to see that he is more than the sum of his disabilities.  I pray it sticks because I like having a happy Thing 1 for a change.

Thank you, holly and LR.  It's terrific considering I was in the school with his teachers on Monday, crying about how hard it is to see him struggle, feeling like I'm totally failing him as a mother because I can't always break through the wall he puts up when he's having bad times.  For now, I will rejoice and be tickled...  for now, I am thrilled.  [:)]

(Thing 1 has adolescent bipolar disorder, rapid cycling.  One minute I have Jekyll, the next, I may have Hyde.)  But for now...  I just have Thing 1, in all his Thingy glory.  *giggles*
