I love my new Cricket broadband internet for my new laptop and my tall-short-person's laptop (hey, it's cheap). It installed on my laptop just fine, but the TSP's laptop wouldn't read the CD to install (her laptop is older). So my mom takes TSP and her laptop today to a local company, "Computer Geeks", to have the CD/DVD drive fixed or replaced. The computer geek says it's not her drive, they get that alot on Cricket broadband, where the older laptops won't read it, even though they fall within the specs provided by Cricket. So he copies it to his own computer, then installs it on her laptop from his computer, then checks to make sure the broadband is working. Knowing they charge $60 just to diagnose (which is then applied to any labor charge), my mom says "how much do we owe you?" The answer? "No charge". My mom was flabbergasted... "no charge? seriously? no charge?" The guy says yeah, it took him 10 minutes or so, not a big deal. AWESOME! Cali
