I love it when something I tried to learn for over 6 years finally "clicked" in my head, I tested it, it worked, and I can feel a bit better about myself...

I have lots of loves in my life for which I am thankful and the most enjoyable one is that I am finding that I have let down my defences and walls with the guy I am "kind of sort of seeing in a very casual way".

I arrived home this afternoon after spending the night at his place and there was an email waiting for me from him saying how enjoyable last night was (ok ok here are the juicy details for all my perverted friends ... we went to hear the deputy prime minister launch a book by a political editor and then went back to his place and watched black snake moan)

I love it when I can finally get enough of a fire lit under my own ass to get the stuff done I needed around the house. An aweful lot of procrastination for what turned out to be less than an hour of work.

I love it when I go to the local TNG meeting and, not only get to meet some great people, but also feel like I helped a new sub who is in a potentially bad (i.e. borderline abusive) situation recognize it.

I love it when I woke hearing the chimes made by Big Ben clearly in my bedroom at 6am on a Sunday morning and hearing nothing else catching a moment of complete silence and peace here so close to central London.

I so understand the procrastination thing DV and also love the feeling of accomplishment when I complete something I have been putting off and find it wasn't that scary after all. I decided to tidy up all of my bed linen today and spent two hours looking at the cupboard and then playing freecell and then looking some more, writing an email, looking some more etc etc.... and the actual job only took about half an hour
