Status: offline 		I love it when I am making plans with Fox for an end of summer vacation to go meet my parents and we are meeting them in Orlando, and the first thing out of Fox's mouth is "Are you taking me to Disney land?!?!?"
The squeal that followed the Yes was so absolutely worth it.

Status: offline 		I love it when I don't think I'm going to be able to go to my niece's wedding this evening because of the gas expense to get there, and one of my best gal pals calls last night and says, "Meet me at Sheetz near my house."  I ask why and she says, "Just do it, please.  I really need you."  So, I go, knowing I barely have the gas to go round trip, but she says she needs me.  I get there, and she says, "Pull up to the pump, next to me."  I do, although puzzled.  She takes out her card and proceeds to put $75.00 gas in my van.  I look at her and cry.  She hugs me and says, "Now, do you have a gift for the wedding yet?"  I shook my head "no" and she says, "OK, follow me."  I'm so stunned that I just do it.  We go to Michael's and get stuff to make a really nice gift and then go to her place and spend the next 3 hours making a beautiful gift and a homemade card/stamp thingie, and she wraps it up so lovely that it looks like something out of a window display.  When I asked her why she did this for me, she just smiled and said, "Because you're my best friend and you're worth it."  (whereby I proceeded to cry all over again)

To AJ, who will never know that I am writing this, but who knows she's in my heart, "Thank you just isn't enough."

Status: offline 		I also loved it when my favorite big brother asked me to dance tonight at the reception, which reminded me that I'm lucky to have such a big, wonderful family.  

And what may be the best memory of the evening...  *warm fuzzy alert*

I danced with my son for the first time ever.  It was the last dance of the night, and he has never slow danced before.  I whispered one bit of instruction, then let him take the lead.  He was a natural, and made me so proud to have my big, tall boy whisking me around the floor, like he had done it a million times.

    Status: offline     		I love it when Fox goes out of his way to make a big day out of a few days off. We are going canoeing tomorrow, all day, just so we can spend time having an adventure together. We are hoping that it will be private enough to get off the river and put up somewhere and do some really good outdoor photos, but just being out boating will be so much fun.

    I also love it when I talk to Angel about his trip next weekend up to Knoxville to see family and he tels me he would much ratehr be home hiking with me. I know that doesnt change the fact that we wont be together, but it is still nice to hear rom someone who makes it such a point not to admit to agrowing dependancy.
