ahh take it from the Irish who know how to swill it back..

Eat the greasy stuff (Greasy potatos being the best) *before* you drink. Not after..

If after you will be praying to the porcalin Goddess. If before it coats your stomach.. and you do not get such an upset tummy so badly.

Eat them about 20 mins before your first drink.

But if you are going to be drinking that night make sure you do eat something before hand. nothing worse then achol. on an empty tummy.

after having my um I became a cheap date.. but before that I could drink just about anyone under the bar.

Now ( ok before the bun in the oven) I would just have a glass of wine every now and again.

Status: offline 		actually i ended up with sweet potato fries from the same restaurant and either got really lucky and didn't get sick, or i have some strange eastern european drinking gene that protects me lol.

i did make the mistake of not eating enough before i went though. my tolerance has been shot ever since i started my anti depressant and it never came back once i got off of it, and i was really happy-buzzed by the time i finished the first beer. it was sort of embarrasing. though not as embarassing as when i dumped His beer all over Him later that night though...

I have always loved how you used it...

my fave nasty thing to call a person is Gnat butter.

But then I usualy have to explain *what* Gnat butter is... which is time consuming.

~ it's that nasty gooey jiz on the outside of a dog's sheath that collects gnats and dirt. Perfectly fitting for some folks.

They even have them in the "Wheel of doom" in one of the break rooms at work.

I adore Southern food. ~ except grits.. YUCK! I cant get past the texture..

I adore Fried Okra, Fried Green tomatos, Fried Chicken with texas pete  hot sauce ( are you noticing a theme? ) collard greens with pickled pepper juice. ( oh yummy yummy) Cornbread with cracklins.... Tornado bread... *sighs*

agrees grits are gross...  ok this morns breakfast for my lil ones was sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy and fried potatoes.... yum yum...i love it but rarely cook it for the obvious reasons...
