I've decided I'm going to talk to my boss about comping TErry one of our jacuzzi suites for a night, so he and his wife can have a romantic evening..

and my mom loved Wanders idea of the car/card.. she said instead of chocolates (hush, you chocofiends) I should put those on the pillow :) I'm thinking also a gift card for Cheesecake Factory or Outback...

I love it when some of that dread at work is abaited. I got called to my bosses office.. he had that look on his face.. but I was being sent to the office to get a full time reg. employee app. ~ Not getting canned. Whew.

So as long as I pass the further background checks.. (Hell I passed B of A's I *Should* pass thiers! ) I will have a full time perm. job with imed. benis now. The pay will still suck.. but at least it is something.

So my every day dread of him telling me to pack up my Initech mug and red stapler is over. ( yes I actualy have them on my desk... and TPS report cover sheets. ~ I write notes on them to co-workers. )

Now I just have to see if I pass the background shit. *hurray*

I think I love that I got an offer on my house that I accepted!

This is so fast. Jeez honest I thought I'd have a few months of relaxing down time, able to enjoy the house all clean and fixed.

I'm all confused, excited and scared. The biggest thing is how to find an apartment in Austin when I don't really know the area very well. Wow omg I got an offer from the very first showing. Wow omg I accepted it and didn't even do a counteroffer (my fathers directions) which feels totally weird and unnatural but didn't want to risk losing the buyer.

Now it hinges on the inspection, but I had one done in early July so really don't have worries on that. Wow omg an offer!!


Anyone living in Austin interested in helping me narrow down areas?
Please?

i love it when... i'm up early enough in the morning to taste the morning/pre-dawn air and it's not because we/i have an early morning flight to somewhere or other.

i love it when... afterwards, i'm still "there" enough to treat myself to breakfast out (coffee helps!) so i can get my body clock back where it's supposed to be... [:)] (though i'm thinking maybe a quickie nap would help, too).
