I love it that Im back on meds I know that work. Now to get back to a regular sleeping schedule instead of the errataic problems I had with the dexidrine trial. How people can take that stuff is beyond me. I counted what I had left and 8 pills thought me into a very unplesant roller coaster ride. I had to laugh at the dr because he often finds people begging for it. They can have em. As far as Im concerned they are only toilet worthy. At least the left over 22 pills, will fit the toilet easy. While my xanax is a popular street drug, he at least agrees that it seems to be what I need to function.
He put me back on exactly what I was on before. Glad I save those I didnt take during the trial. So didnt have to rush out and get script filled as he gave me a refill for 2 of them. The xanax I have to go back and get a script for since it has to be filled withing 7 days, so will get those next week instead.
I love that I went to bed at 9:30 and slept through to 6am so the worry of not being able to get back on prime time restoritive sleep. Hopefully the restless waking up and lots of twilight sleep will calm down too, can only hope.
I also love that with my antianxiety medication, and having to live in NYC has helped me use Cognative threapy tactics to be able to get out and around letting me not have to rely on others to get the things like back in Texas when if I got out out it was a less than 5 day wait between. Grant you I am not stressed staying at home, but I CAN get out on my own without having to have someone go with me. After 10 years that by itself is a HUGE step for me.
I love it that when I did get out yesterday, I tend to stop at one of the street stalls that sell chewp but often cut clothes. ( NYC answer to Walmart prices LOL) While I could afford to buy anything, the guy that runs it was a riot, as well as the one that works closer to my home but related to the same business. They seem to enjoy this lil Texas gal, that will gab about anything. NYC residents are not always complete assholes on the street and help lessen the stress.
I love it that Sunday is what my sister calls the ultimate street fair where alot of well known designers and store gather and you can get something that would be $300 in a store for around $20. It a once a year street fair and happens to be pretty close to here.
So tho its early, its been good so far and hope it stays in that direction .
