I love it when I take a giant step on a 7 year stint of agoraphobia!!!!!!!

Well I did the 3rd Ave street fair today. 20 blocks back and forth from end to end.

This is a HUGE thing to me, 6 months ago I would only leave the house for a dr appt or to get meds.

There were a couple of times I wanted to just get back to the apt. 1 when we were on a incline and could see blocks and blocks ahead and looked like the nyc marathon and kinda froze. The other was when I lost my sister, stupid me to not pick up the phone and call, she had to call me. I do get freaked out when I go somewhere busy and lose who Im with. It was nervy but I did it.

This is with no therapy but me thinking of a way I could deal with people on the streets as I have no choice to but get out more. I fix my minds eye to think all the people are doggies and sometimes there are a group of people walkers with the doggies dragging them around.

Cognitive behavioral therapy, without the price tag of a therapist, YAY for me

I so pleased Im gonna hug myself LOL

i love that dinner is done and cleaned up.  i can hear the dishwasher going and for some reason that is just comforting to me, i've always loved that sound. [:)]

Thanks Kali, you have known me several years now and pretty much know the whole story
Now cross your fingers that S.A.D. doesnt go and mess it all up as it not that far away till it usually hits, but the again maybe all that Vitamin A will help with that.

Thanks Holly, Its come in ebbs and tides over the years, and while I dont enjoy living in the dirty, noisy, busy city, I have to say that its helped. Thank and my ermmm xanax. Thank god this new dr doesnt have an aversion to its use. Its the only thing over the years that keeps my anxiety somewhat level.

yup, congrats savage....i'm going to look up agoraphobia so i know the details more, there is a lady at work with it and boy does she struggle at times. 

i love this place!  where else can you get pineapples of lurve?  seriously?

thanks Lady Hib.. ya had to remind me.. I even tried to convince him to let me move in.. he cant possibly eat all of her cooking by himself.. but I dont think it flew.

I'd want her to myself too.

i love it when i'm sitting here all alone feeling sorry for myself because i suck.....
   i'm too lasy (don't have transportation) to go to the gym anymore
   i'm too lazy to clean up the apartment
  i'm too tired to do the laundry
   i'm too lazy to walk my fat ass to the grocery store and get us some food.
  i've already eaten twice today and i'm freaking starving
  i suck at my job because i'm so damned behind on paperwork.


And as i'm reading Gwyn's post he walks through the door. He gave me a big ass hug, and told me i need to stop thinking. And reminded me that i'm not lazy but have been through a major accident, and blah blah blah blah

I love it when I have received several positive cmails about my journal entry that I thought was going to get me bashed.  Most of the messages have been from strangers who chanced upon reading it and were very supportive.  I never expected that.

i love that there is some kick ass coffee waiting for me at work.  i love that my skin is perfectly clear again (it was horrid the whole time i was in that relationship and in 3 days it clears up?  i'm wondering if there is some kind of connection).  i love that i'm having a good hair day. 

i love that i can find good things even if it is monday morning.

Yes, definitely sounds like stress related skin issues. Stress is gone, skin is clear!

**I love that there were no fatalities on Sat due to the heavy rains. We were busy, but everyone got to the hospital alive and stayed that way :)) (I checked each time I went back to the hospital).
I love that I got to see the grand ums yesterday and that I'll be seeing them every week now as bowling continues :)  The youngest who is 1 looks JUST LIKE her sis who's a year older!!  JUST LIKE her! They came in pushing the youngest in her stroller/I just stood there and stared trying to figure out which one she was!!  God, I love my little family**!!!![sm=cute.gif]
