Actually, the girl's husband is the same guy that took the professional pics at the masked ball, and he did take a pic last night.  He hasn't sent it to me yet.

I love it... okay... I wouldn't go THAT far... I am happy that the family thing from the past that I was anxious about turned out not just "okay", but actually pretty nice.  And I didn't even throw up on the way there.

I love it that I spent the last week with the man I met and fell in love with here on the boards and it was amazing!

I hate it that he flies back to PA tomorrow and I am missing him already.

I love it when I buy a new shower curtain because the old one has seen better days, and Thing 2 says, "Get the blue one, Mom, we need a splash of color otherwise the bathroom just looks blah."  And I stare at this child and wonder how old she really is because she said it with such authority.  [:D]   Well, I can't have a blah bathroom right?  So navy blue shower curtain it was. 

Like I've said before, sometimes it's the little things that make us happy.  [:)]

Tammy, if you think about it, Dan played a better game than Dr. Will ever could.  Dan's game was brilliant, even if I can't stand him, I have to respect his game.

Yay for all the good news today for everyone.....

and my bargain buy today...a pair of jeans for $6 from Target marked down from $59.!!!!!!  And my butt doesn't look fat in them...there is a god!

I love that I know that I have no problem issuing orders, I don't care WHAT your rank is. If you've read my post about Sat. on the "Hate it" thread, you'll know what I'm talking about when I say I was on my own bringing in some heavy supplies on a cot and dealt w/nothing but steps which is a 2 person operation. I saw a Chief just strolling in who was NOT dispatched but self dispatched to view the call. I saw him & hollered, "Hey Chief! Come & help me w/this"!!! He pointed to others arriving on scene. My response, "No, I need you NOW, get over here"! 
I'm surprised I wasn't disciplined when I arrived back at the station.

i love it that Pots did that!! Nothing pisses me off more than a superior who pulls rank in an emergency. And Pots...i am sorry for the disciplinary action. Perhaps someone needs to remind him of what his job is all about?
