oh, gotta tell a sweet little story here. just as i was leaving work tonight, a handsome older man (sigh, had a wedding ring) came in with a little bag wrapped around something. it was a small stack of hankies. there was a name on one of them. he said he'd picked up the named hankie off the sidewalk just outside earlier in the day (i work surrounded by nursing homes). it was a bit tatty, so he went out and bought her 3 more to match the first. i took it around after work and dropped it off at the nurses station so they could give it to her later. imagine the warm glow she might get from someone caring enough not just to return her little bit of property, but who did a random act of kindness as well.....

i love it when karma hits in the right way.  i love it when my Um comes home excited about something at school (it has been a tough time with school).  i love it when i walk in the house and my kitty purrs at the site of me and then stalks me for a few hours.  i love it when my Dominant holds me and strokes my hair.  i love it when one of the residents at work hugs me and tells me they love me.

I secretly love it when animals come up to me and love all over me, all the while their owners are sputtering, "but he hates EVERYBODY!!".  My sister's cat does this, and my co-worker's little dog does this.
