I love that my interview seemed to go well today... However I don't want to jinx it I don't want to get my hopes up and I should know more next week.

I love that I got a letter from the Director of Cortiva-Chicago School of Massage therapy. They are the massage therapy school I went to 15 years ago. The current director is the person who graded me on my final before I graduated. I am sure she doesnt remember me right off the bat. She was an Instructor back then . they will be seeking an Instructor in the future and want someone who's passion and enthusiasm for teaching massage matches hers. this is the only school I would work for. They are the best and they educate students properly. The students that go there want to be taught at a specialty school and are serious. Where I taught was all about money and it is a mill. Each course only being 4 weeks long then another 4 week course. It did not have the right format to really educate the students properly.

I don't know where this will lead but it has boosted my morale considerably.

that's awesome luscious... you know, i've never been a big fan of "put it out to the universe and it will come back to you". but recently, it's kinda been happening that way. and i remember reading on the "find me a job" thread you were looking for work. and look....... just what you wanted, when you wanted.

along those lines, i love it (in a twisted sort of way), when the universe gives you what you need. i've always had a grudge against a whole nationality for something that a few people in a particular country did to my ex. i was involved with interviews at work this week. and a man from that nationality applied. and of course, i was one of the interviewees. when i read his app, i groaned and then laughed and told my co-workers what i'd always felt, and that i knew it was irrational and unfair. so this was the universes way of slapping me upside the head, holding my face to a mirror and saying, "look, girly, GET OVER IT!!"

no christmas card for the universe this year
