I love being home (where the computer is), I love that the Traffic Gods were with me as I drove home through Ontario, I love that I got to see some friends in person, I love that L/L's wedding ROCKED, I love Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale, I love that I got an extra hour of deeply needed sleep due to Governmental Time Control, and dang, I love Canada! snorgles all around

I love that I finally got to see my grandum play football on Sat. It was a BEAUTIFUL day & I really got into the spirit of the game. When his mom & I arrived w/the 2 wee ones, the game had already started and we saw him running w/the ball, but he was tackeled. Then we saw him kick a field goal, but unfortunately it didn't go thru and a few minutes later it was halftime. I mosied my way to his team's area where they were huddled in a meeting and when they finished, I hollered his name & his face just lit up. There's nothing scarier that seeing a football player in full gear running straight at you!!! We were walking arms around each other and alot of his teammates came up and asked if I was his mother. (They know DAMN well who his mother is :) He said, "No, that's my grandmother". I slapped his head & he stopped introducing me that way from then on :))) Later, my son in law who is also one of the coaches thanked me for coming. He said that my grandum was really upset about missing the field goad and was down on himself but after seeing me he actually pepped up again. My grandum scored the only 2 touchdowns in the whole game thus nabbing the win!! YEAH TJ!!!! [sm=cheering.gif][sm=cheerleader.gif] I love that my bladder infection didn't act up at all on Sat (THANK GOD since there were NO jiffy johns around)!! (*Wish I could say the same for Sun. when I visitied my friend in the hospital*)[:'(] I love that we were all able to go out to lunch afterwards and have good quality family time.

i love it that my oldest is well enough to attend school after missing a week ...that at my youngest's school there were more men than moms making sure every student entered inside safely ...that my pet/bf called and even though i'm still not able to use my voice, it was wonderful to hear his.
